Kramer DME is a Durable Medical Equipment company specializing in dispensing nPAP equipment to patients that have been diagnosed with any type of sleep disordered breathing. As of December, 2004 Kramer DME is proud to announce their company has become accredited through JCAHO. This shows that Kramer DME is “Committed to Quality Sleep-Related Care; and providing you with Better Sleep Solutions.” We display that in each patient that we set up with our CPAP/ Bilevel equipment. Kramer DME serves the following counties and surrounding areas: Cook, DeKalb, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kankakee, Kendall, LaSalle, and Will. We are also available for emergency coverage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The set-up process is specially designed for each individual patient and the treatment plan is explained to them by a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or sleep equipment specialist. During the set up the patient is educated on Sleep Disordered Breathing. The results of their sleep study are reviewed with them; the patient is instructed on the use of their equipment, and how to care for it. A mask is custom fit for each individual, and any questions the patient may have are answered.
Once the patient has been set up through Kramer DME, we do a thorough follow up to ensure that they are compliant with the CPAP/Bilevel equipment. Patient follow up calls are made on an ongoing basis to answer patient questions, assess patient equipment and provide reminders regarding equipment care. If at any time the patient is having trouble with their equipment, we urge them to call Kramer DME and we will address each situation individually. If the patient’s equipment is malfunctioning, they can bring it into Kramer DME and we will provide them with loaner equipment while their personal equipment is being repaired.
Kramer DME also hosts Educational and Support Group meetings for CPAP/Bilevel users that are sponsored by Cardinal Sleep Center We feel as though this aids us in better patient compliance and understanding of their diagnosis. We also offer desensitization to aid CPAP/Bilevel acclimation. Kramer DME prides itself on providing high quality, reliable sleep-related durable medical equipment for the treatment of sleep disordered breathing.
Our services are covered by Medicare, HMO’s and most insurance plans. Should you need any additional information about Kramer DME, please feel free to contact us.
